The Heart of a Poet

Welcome to my blog all about poems, but more importantly, all about you. That’s right, I’ve created this blog for everyone that has been through, heartbreak, grief, love, tragedy, and other countless emotion we all go through from, well… being human. 

I’ve realized life isn’t all rainbows and butterflies, there are thunderstorms and unexpected rain showers that come and wash us away. 

However, I also realized that I’m not the only one that has dark and expressive feelings. I would say I found poetry, but really it found me and together we took on my demons and explored my writing abilities, I didn’t even know I had. 

I invite you into my little world of rhyming words, clichés, similes, and things that don’t quite make sense, but make you feel heard. This is a safe place to, laugh, cry, scream, whatever you need to do to let your emotions fly. 

I also want to hear from you, whether it’s posting your own poems or just replying what you thought of my own stories.

This is an interactive space, so let me know what you’re feeling inside too, because it’s too much of a mad world out there, to not have someone to lean on. Even if you just need to get some of your darkness out, let me be your light.
